Olimpia di Elinor Woods is World Winner 2026: our silver Maine Coon on top of the world
A young silver queen conquers the FIFe World Show in Amsterdam. A victory that tells of years of passion, selective breeding and love for the Maine Coon.
Amsterdam, 25 October 2026: a date that will stay forever in the history of our cattery, Elinor Woods Maine Coon.
Some emotions are hard to put into words. Moments when your heart beats so fast it seems to stop time, and when years of work, sacrifice and dreams suddenly take on a greater meaning.
For us, that moment has a name: WW'26 JCH KCH Olimpia di Elinor Woods JW, our Maine Coon World Winner 2026.
Our silver girl, born from our own breeding programme and raised by us, has won one of the most coveted awards in the international cat fancy: the title of World Winner 2026 at the FIFe World Show in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
FIFe World Show Amsterdam 2026: Olimpia's results
The FIFe World Show is one of the most eagerly awaited events in the world of pedigree cats. Every year it brings together breeders from many countries, each showing some of the finest examples of their breed.
At this top-level cat show, Olimpia stood out from her very first judging, winning:
- EX1 – Excellent 1
- CACJ
- BIV – Best in Variety
- NOM – Nomination for Best in Show
These results alone would have made us immensely proud. But the most thrilling moment was still to come.
The Junior final: nine females, one world title
In the world final, Olimpia competed against eight other beautiful Junior females, each one deserving of her place on that stage.
Nine young talents. Nine outstanding females. Only one World Winner title.
Then the verdict came, and our dream came true: Olimpia di Elinor Woods is World Winner 2026!
The kind of emotion that makes your hands tremble, fills your eyes with tears and leaves you speechless.
Behind a world title: pedigree and selection
A world title is not only a reward for the beauty of a single cat. For us it tells a story of studying pedigrees, careful choices, knowledge of the breed standard and a constant pursuit of health, balance and type.
It is the story of nights spent beside our queens, the excitement of every birth and the responsibility behind every decision in our Maine Coon cattery.
Olimpia is the daughter of our Minnie and Justcoons LuxemburgJW. Watching her grow, recognising her qualities and accompanying her through her show career has been a privilege.
Her journey in two steps:
- Junior Winner (JW): her first major international title.
- World Winner 2026: just a few days later, her crowning moment on the biggest stage of all, the world one.
Two milestones that speak of an exceptional young female, and remind us why we devote so much of our lives to this breed every single day.
Elinor Woods Maine Coon: a cattery built since 2016
Since 2016 our journey with the Maine Coon has been one of passion, study and continuous growth. Every kitten carries a part of our story and of our vision of breeding.
Not all of them will become champions, and not all of them will step onto an international stage. But each one is a responsibility, a project and a small piece of our heart.
In Amsterdam, Olimpia carried the name Elinor Woods to the top of the world podium. Knowing she was born from our own breeding programme makes this victory even deeper: it confirms a path we have always believed in, even when the sacrifices seemed greater than the rewards.
Thank you, Olimpia: our world champion
You gave us one of those moments every breeder dreams of, but no one can take for granted. You turned a dream into a memory that will last forever.
As we write these words, we are still in disbelief, overwhelmed and immensely proud. Because titles are won in a single day, but the dreams that make them possible are built over years of love and dedication.
