The World Show has always been the most anticipated event of the year for breeders and enthusiasts of purebred cats. A true feline Olympic Games, where the most beautiful, carefully selected and internationally renowned cats come together from every corner of the world. This year, the edition held in Romania exceeded all expectations in terms of atmosphere, competition and prestige. And for our cattery, Elinor Woods, attending was a moment of immense pride.
We had the honour of presenting three young Maine Coon females:
Nirvana, Nitroglicerina, and Nothing Else.
Three kittens that represent not only our breeding work, but the very essence of who we are: a balance of structure, type, sweetness and presence.
From the very first steps on the judges’ table, our girls stood out. The atmosphere at the World Show is different: higher expectations, attentive eyes, meticulous preparation, and the awareness of standing side by side with the most exceptional cats on the planet—champions and legends from historic and world-famous breeding programs.
Yet our young Maine Coons showed no hesitation. They displayed calm, confidence and elegance. They knew how to be on stage, and that alone is already a result that goes far beyond any title.
A Standout Performance: Nothing Else Shines on the World Stage
Among the three, Nothing Else experienced a moment we will forever remember in the history of our cattery.
Still very young and in full development, Nothing Else achieved Best in Variety in her class, distinguishing herself for her exceptional structure, coat quality, powerful expression and that unique personality that only a few cats possess—the kind of magnetic presence that captivates both judges and audience.
But that was not all.
Nothing Else also received a Nomination for Best in Show, being called onto the most prestigious stage of all, where only the best among the best compete. Seeing her there, under the lights of the World Stage, confirmed once again that our breeding philosophy is moving exactly in the direction we desire: beauty, health, and temperament.
Nirvana and Nitroglicerina: Promising, Strong, and Full of Future
Nirvana and Nitroglicerina also performed beautifully. They received excellent appreciation from the judges for type, balance, and character.
The World Show is not just a competition—it is a mirror of the future of the breed. It is the place where different breeding lines meet, compare, inspire and challenge each other.
And our two young girls showed exactly what we hoped for:
a solid genetic foundation, a modern Maine Coon look, and a balanced, confident temperament.
